TREE TOPS ADVENTURE PARK

​

At the Tree Tops Adventure Park enjoy various climbing challenges in the trees and flying through the air on zip-lines. You’ll be thrilled by the challenge of making your way around the beautiful native forest on the agility courses, rope bridges and zip-lines set high in the trees.

​

More than a hundred challenges including 20 zip-lines or flying foxes are in the park. Four courses are available for children as young as three and include four flying foxes. A belay safety system keeps children safely attached so they can focus on climbing, swinging, leaping and flying.

​

The Treetop Adventure Park is in the Ourimbah State Forest on the NSW Central Coast and is open daily, except Christmas Day. From Sydney, the drive north to the park is 80 minutes. You can travel by train from Sydney to Wyong station and change for a six-minute taxi trip to the park

​

Opening times vary depending on the time of the year: September 19 to April 26, 9am to 6pm; April 27 to September 18 Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and weekends 9am to 4.30pm. Reservations are recommended.

From magical mazes to friendly farm animals and many more amazing attractions and activities on offer. Amazement Farm and Fun Park is a tonne of fun for the whole family. Explore their multiple magical mazes, friendly farm animals: bunnies, guinea pigs, mini goats, sheep, mini cows, ponies, alpacas, emus, chickens and more.

There is also the bird sanctuary area, scheduled shows, yard activities, sporting games, giant board games, kids playground area, mini kids bike track and bikes, the big barn café, picnic areas and much much more. Also catering for special occasions, group bookings, school excursions and farm stay accommodation.

Stand up paddle boarding is fast becoming a popular sport, being one of the best ways to keep fit, it’s a total body workout with many local fitness groups adding flat water paddling to their program.

​

Clinics & Demos Available

​

Join the fun with one of our stand up paddle board clinics at Terrigal Lake or our Open water Clinics from Terrigal Beach.

​

Our trained instructors can take you through a basic introduction to SUP, teach you the basics and have a stack of fun along the way doing races, learn techniques and play games. A SUP Clinic or Demo Day is the perfect idea for Groups or Birthday parties for up to 30 people.

​

Our Clinics cover an introduction to SUP, we provide regular flat water fitness classes and we offer advanced SUP technique training for all ages and all levels of ability.

​

We are open on weekends, school and public holidays Call for mid-week sessions.

GLENWORTH VALLEY HORSE RIDING

Horse Riding Sydney and Central Coast

​

Glenworth Valley has over 200 quality horses, allowing them to cater for the exact needs of all riders. There friendly staff will select a horse to suit your riding ability, from gentle horses for beginners to more challenging horses for experienced riders. Individual instruction is given to all riders prior to departure and roving supervisors are on hand to assist riders if required. Visitors to Glenworth Valley have the option of free-range riding or guided riding. 
 

Guided horse riding

 

Guided horse riding is suitable for riders of all abilities, with no previous horse riding experience required. Instruction on control and management of your horse is given before leaving the yards and a professional and friendly guide will accompany you on your ride. You will be shown the features of the area while riding and once you feel proficient and confident with your horse you may be able to leave the group and explore the valley at your own pace.
 

Free-range horse riding

 

Free-range horse riding is available for experienced riders who feel confident with their horse and who wish to explore the valley at their own pace. All riders are given instruction on control and management of the horse before leaving the yards to ride wherever they like without a guide. In order to go free range riding we like you to have ridden at least 50 times before however the final decision regarding rider experience and ability for free range riding rests with the Yard Manager on the day. 
 

Lead pony rides

 

Lead pony rides are available for children aged 3 to 12 years old, for 1 hour. An adult is required to lead the pony/horse from the ground. For children under 5 years old, 2 adults are required; one to lead and one to walk beside. Up to 2 children can share the lead pony in one hour (one at a time).

AUSTRALIAN REPTILE PARK

​

Meet Australia’s friendliest and deadliest creatures at the Australian Reptile Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. Among the mammals are echidnas, platypuses, koalas, dingoes, kangaroos, gliders and bilbies. There are opportunities for hands-on experiences.

​

The deadly creatures include crocodiles, snakes and spiders. You’ll enjoy shows with reptiles, koalas, Tasmania devils and spiders, including the daily milking of deadly funnel web spiders. The venom is used to produce life-saving antivenin.

​

The awarding-winning park, which also milks deadly snakes for life-saving antivenins, is an hour north of Sydney by car. You can walk with Hugo, a giant Galapagos tortoise. On weekends and public holidays are thrilling venomous snake and crocodile shows.

​

Behind-the-scene tours and animal encounters are available. In Somersby on the Central Coast, the park is open 9am to 5pm daily, except Christmas Day. Bus companies such as AAT Kings and Grayline offer tours from Sydney that include the park.
