The Entrance

As one of the Central Coast’s most popular tourist hubs, The Entrance has enjoyed a long-standing stellar reputation as a seaside resort town that offers it all. Perched on the channel to Tuggerah Lake, easily experience ocean baths, beaches, water sports, fishing, fresh seafood, lakeside eateries, outdoor entertainment, festivals, fireworks… and of course pelicans.

The Entrance Baths
​
Clear your mind with a cleansing swim in the outdoor ocean pools. The Grant McBride Baths, featuring a 50-metre lap pool, 20 metre smaller pool, and a wading pool located by the Heritage listed Surf Life Saving Club at the southern end of The Entrance beach. There's free entry all year round and brilliant coastal views while you paddle.
Coast to Lake Walk

The Coast to Lake is a self-guided walk around The Entrance and surrounding areas to experience the landmarks, attractions and scenery this popular pocket of the Central Coast has to offer. It's considered a 'string of pearls', covering over 7.6km of our beautiful area.
The Coast to Lake walk is divided into four distinct sections, and you can tackle each section separately. Sections one, three and four are fully accessible to wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and bicycles.

Blue Bay - Enjoy the calm waters of the protected Blue Bay Beach - offering the perfect spot of families to relax the day away.

Toowoon Bay - The adventurers haven - take your snorkel and explore all that the reef has to offer!

Shelly Beach - Set up for a full day of surf, sun and sand at the icon Shelly Beach. With optional pet friendly area to the left of the Surf Club. Perfect for families with the flags set up just in front of the the cafe, but also a well known surf spot for those looking for easy access to great waves.
